Onigiri is a traditional Japanese food made by shaping warm rice with your hands.
It’s easy to eat, convenient to carry, and super popular — like Japanese fast food!

👩‍🍳 How to Make Onigiri|おにぎりのつくりかた

  1. Cook fresh, warm rice(あたたかいごはんをたきます)
  2. Salt your hands and shape the rice(すこししおをつけてにぎります)
    • Common shapes: triangle(三角)、round(まる)、barrel-shaped(たわらがた)
    • Add your favorite filling(ぐ・たね) inside
  3. Wrap with nori (seaweed)(のりをまきます)
